I did not end up enlisting their legal services, but I spoke to Zach on the phone and this conversation was the most helpful I have yet experienced in dealing with my unfortunate incident. He told me that, unfortunately, there was not much that Pendergast could do in my situation, but he spent a half hour working through my options with me. I haven’t had this level of support from the police, my insurance company, or any other legal services. Though I hope I won’t, if I do experience another legal issue, I will definitely return to Pendergast.

I was involved in a car accident last June. It was a difficult situation because the other driver made an illegal left turn, hitting my car and then fleeing the scene. Unfortunately, I didn't have my cell phone with me, so I couldn't call the police. The other driver claimed he had called them, but they never arrived. To make matters worse, he refused to exchange driver's and insurance information. He even pushed me to get back into his car and then drove away. I was able to get his license plate number, but that was the only solid evidence I had. I was extremely upset and unsure of what to do. I hired Pendergast Law in 2023 to pursue recovery from two insurance companies for a significant auto accident. In October 2021 I was driving on a freeway in Arizona towing a car on a trailer when a car passed me and changed lanes before getting ahead of me and hit the front my tow vehicle and caused me to lose control and crash. This was a hit and run so my insurance had to take care of this. I waited until January 2024 to try to settle for the accident. I contacted Pendergast Law and explained my problem and with no trouble giving the information they needed they got right on it. They kept me informed of the progress step by step and got a settlement for more than I expected six months later in September 2024. Even though they couldn’t take my case because my settlement wasnt the biggest they weren’t greedy but instead gave me multiple solutions on what I can do to get through my situation. I thought dealing with my car insurance company would be easy and fairly cut and dry. It was not. I learned quickly it is the job of the insurance company to not fairly take care of you. My truck was hit with hail damage on March 28,2021. My insurance company USAA made a million excuses to not pay the claim. After 4 months of angst with USAA they denied the claim. I reached out to Hardwick and Pendergast. They listened reviewed all my data, They contacted USAA. USAA paid the claim in full minus the deductable. I am a 25 year member of USAA it was quite a shock to be treated like this. Something I learned in this process, Regardless of the proof of the legitimacy of the claim, if the Insurance company does not want to pay your legitimate claim.. as consumers they have us painted in a corner.
